FlexRibbon™ Cable is a set of 4 cables that run parallel to each other and are attached side by side. This creates one cable that looks like a ribbon. Both ends of the ribbon cable split out separately into the individual cables, to allow each cable to plug into switch ports and server ports.
FlexRibbon™ series help data center engineers and operators to save time and cost with easier cabling planning and design, faster installation, and easier cable management. The thin 28AWG ribbon cables with LSZH and soft PVC allow high flexibility and easy routing. The entire server rack look more neat, organized, and professional.
The FlexLite Ribbon Cables are customizable. Here are the options available:
1. Type of cable – FlexLite™ CAT6 UTP and CAT6A UFTP
2. 5 Colors in LSZH jacket – Black, Blue, Grey, Orange & Yellow; extra soft PVC jacket in Blue
3. Cable terminated with standard RJ45 & boot (31.5mm) or FlexMini™ plug & boot (17.5mm)
4. Length of Section A (split out lanes to switch ports)
5. Length of Section B (main body)
6. Length of Section C (split out lanes to server ports)
7. Can do custom cable lengths – One Length or Step Lengths for the 4 parallel cables
8. Labeling service: Labels ID on Section B, near the plugs on Section A, and Section C
